| Students Student Ticket Policies
Students at Mason Gross School of the Arts are encouraged to attend events sponsored by the school. There are discounted student ticket prices for all events that have a cost. Free events are numerous and do not require tickets. MGPAC STUDENT RUSH /COMPLIMENTARY TICKET PROTOCOL
RUSH TICKETS (Theater & Music Only)
Student Rush tickets are free tickets distributed directly before the performance starting at a half-hour prior to the scheduled performance time. Rush tickets are not departmental complimentary tickets. The Ticket Office will not process Rush tickets during ticket office business hours. The decision regarding who is eligible for Rush tickets is up to the individual department sponsoring the event. See policy below for eligibility by department.
Student Rush tickets can be obtained on an as available basis by presenting your Rutgers ID. No form is necessary. One ticket per Rutgers ID.
Students eligible for Rush tickets to theater events must appear on the departmental list provided by the Theater Department. All Rutgers Students can rush Music events.

COMPLIMENTARY TICKETS (All departments as per departmental policy)
Complimentary tickets are free tickets issued by the ticket office during ticket office business hours only. The Ticket Office will not process complimentary tickets during before event sales which begins 1 hour prior to the scheduled performance time. The sponsoring department of the event (theater and dance) or the event conductor/director (music) authorizes the amount of comp tickets anyone on their list is allowed to any given performance. See policy below for eligibility by department.
Comps can be claimed anytime during normal ticket office hours of Monday through Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday noon-6pm by completing, signing and returning the Comp Request Form. Comp Request Forms are available in the Main Ticket Office and the departmental offices. They can be completed in person at the main ticket office or mailed/hand delivered to the ticket office. The requester need not wait until the day of the performance to submit a Comp Request Form. All requesters of comps must appear on the departmental list provided and a Rutgers ID will be required.
The request is processed and tickets issued only after the form has been completed, signed and submitted to the ticket office. Once processed, tickets can be held in Will Call for pick up or taken with you. Tickets held in Will Call can be claimed during normal ticket office hours of Monday-Friday 10am-6pm and Saturday noon-6pm or within 1 hour of the scheduled performance time on the day of the performance at the theater.
Any additional Complimentary tickets desired above and beyond the standard policy must be authorized in writing by the sponsoring department of the event. Additional tickets may be purchased at the normal published ticket price. Limit one (1) ticket at the student rate. Rutgers ID is required.
