Admissions Theater Arts

Theater is a creative art in which true excellence can be achieved only through mastery of technical craft. The theater arts curricula combines rigorous studio class work with intensive and extensive production experience, providing students with in-depth training and practice in theater. Classes are conducted by distinguished master teachers and professional artists.

B.F.A. conservatory training is offered in three areas of specialization:

Theater arts students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels are encouraged to collaborate with one another and to tap the tremendous wealth of opportunities available throughout the university as well as the New York City area.
