Production and Management Specialties

The BFA Production and Management Specialties Program is for those students who have an interest in the areas of stage management, technical direction, properties, costume technology and theater management. The program prepares you for a career as a professional stage manager, technical director, or costume cutter or draper.

Production and Management Specialties Interview Requirements:

• You must submit your application to Rutgers University prior to scheduling an interview. After you do so, you will receive a letter from the Theater Arts Department with information on how to schedule your interview.
• There is a $40.00 non-refundable interview fee for all Production and Management Specialties applicants. (This fee is separate from the application fee to the University.)
• Applicants should bring materials representative of your interest in theater, such as prompt books, photographs of crafts, shows or construction projects, drafting etc.
