Programs M.M. and D.M.A. degrees and assistantships in Situated less than an hour from New York City, students study both vocal and instrumental repertoire while developing their skills in coaching, rehearsal technique, and recital performance. Multiple performance venues are available beyond the recital including opera, choral groups, Helix!, orchestra, and wind ensemble. Other distinguished music faculty with whom you may have the opportunity to study include Arnold Steinhardt (Guarneri Quartet), Paul Neubauer (NY Philharmonic), Faith Esham (Grammy Award winner), Brian McIntosh (NY City Opera), William Fielder (Wynton Marsalis' teacher), among others. Barbara González-Palmer, director and teacher Ms. González-Palmer has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Asia in concert with such artists as Barry Tuckwell, Milagro Vargas, Michael Tree, and Phyllis Bryn-Julson, and in master classes for Martina Arroyo, Frederica Von Stade, Jean-Pierre Rampal, James Galway, Grace Bumbry, and many others of note.
